It goes without saying that real estate is a full-time position for me. I wouldn't be valuable to you without staying up-to-date on the ever-changing market and all the related industries surrounding real estate including banking, insurance, building inspection, appraisals, and government policies and changes in the community regulations where I work. And let's not forget, the hours of many classes that hone my skills and keep me on top of real estate contract trends. Together with my professional tool-kit, I am all yours and eager to hear your needs, hopes, and dreams. As we tour properties, I pick up clues that show me how you feel, and I feed that information back to you in a fluid back and forth process. Then, with that knowledge, I can direct you to properties you may have overlooked in your computer search, and that's often how we ultimately find "the ONE." I possess the qualities you expect from a professional agent such as honesty, organization, and endless communication and negotiation skills, but my secret weapon is my persistence in problem-solving.
Before receiving the keys to your new home, there are approximately fifty people who will examine you and the property from various viewpoints. After we write an acceptable contract that protects your interest while we complete discovery about the property, my ability to be pro-active and avoid problems while working tirelessly to keep all parties – including you – focused on collaboration and forward motion will provide you with a truly valuable asset. It is not an understatement to say that real estate is ALL about solving problems, and I am determined to represent you in all resolutions while helping other professionals find ways to say yes so we can get those keys.
I am a licensed Realtor in Washington; an Accredited Buyer’s Representative; a Certified New Home Sales Professional; and a member of the National Association of Realtors, Kitsap County Association of Realtors and the Home Builders Association of Kitsap County.
With a style and skills that match your needs, I look forward to having the privilege of partnering with you as we find you a new place to call home.

Karen is by far the best and the most competent realtor I have ever worked with. Her knowledge and experience with contracts, her attention to detail, and fighting for the best for her clients, gives her clients real trust and comfort as they work through these major decisions. She sold my property in record time and has helped me through the process of finding another home. I would recommend Karen to anyone.

Karen is a joy to work with and her knowledge of the local area and beyond was so helpful. We were purchasing a second home from out of state and she guided us through the entire process. Her response to our numerous emails and phone calls was exceptional. As we have settled into our new home she continues to stay in touch with helpful contacts, local events and Island life in general. We are grateful to have met a true professional and a new friend.

Karen is an outstanding agent.
I consider myself a savvy buyer/seller and watched the local market for 4-5 years before listing our home. From that activity I have talked with many agents and have always been somewhat suspicious of agents, but things just clicked with Karen when I met her at an open house. She was not a hard sell to get our business and took the time to get to know me and my family to really understand our needs and goals.
When it came time to list, it was natural to go with Karen. She is very knowledgeable of our local market, she brought in a professional stager and prepared a punch list of activities to complete and big ticket items to have reviewed prior to any offer so we would not be surprised with anything during an inspection. This put us in a much better negotiating position when an offer was in hand.
She also helped us find a home once ours sold (approx 21 days), again applying her knowledge of what to pay attention to and her ability to negotiate in our favor. She kept us on track with knowing what was on both the must have's and our wish list, keeping it all real and manageable. Karen is also very responsive and has great follow-through.
After all the I's dotted, T's crossed, Karen continues to remain in contact and we consider her part of our family.

Karen was an absolute joy and made buying our first house in 35 years almost painless. She was a wealth of information about the local area - especially about a gluten free bakery. Most important, she really listened to what our requirements were. All of the properties she showed us were great. Once we wanted to make an offer, she spent considerable time explaining the process and helped us negotiate a price considerably under the asking price.
One more thing - about 10 days after we made our offer, our financing fell through. Karen saved the day by referring us to a mortgage broker. We were able to re-qualify in 36 hours AND still close on time. We would have lost our dream property without her help.

"Karen is a real pro and a really warm person. She helped me buy my current house. I was a total stress case about making such a big decision. But Karen anticipated every step, kept me on track, found me a great mortgage broker, scheduled people to give me estimates for work that needed to be done, and gave me referrals to people for various services. She was great at negotiating the house price, too. And all the way through the process, she was always calm and upbeat. Can't say enough good things about her!"
"Karen is AMAZING! As first time home buyers, we needed all the help we could get and Karen really covered all of our bases for us! She even bought a hose and watered the flowers at the home we were buying while we waited to close! (We were out of state) She always kept us updated on the home buyingprocess and had our best interests in mind. I can't say enough nice things about this wonderful lady! If we ever sell, we will definitely use her services and we highly recommend her to others!"

"I interviewed several real estate brokers before putting my home up for sale. I chose Karen Keefe. She sold my home in less than a day for five thousand more than I was asking. Ms. Keefe is insightful, dedicated, thorough and a superb communicator. She would get back to me within a few minutes by phone, email or text messages. Every question or concern was considered important.
Ms. Keefe is able to multitask her way through complex scenarios with dispatch and select a highly professional strategy that brings the the seller and buyer to a closing both find to be in their best interest.
Karen Keefe is the epitome of the professional real estate broker."

We highly recommend Realtor Karen Keefe.
During an overseas active duty mobilization in the armed forces, my wife and I had no choice but to sell our rental house on Bainbridge Island. It was the absolute worst time in which to sell property: the housing market had just imploded and our lender – Washington Mutual – was circling the drain.
But thanks to Karen, what started out as a potential nightmare turned into a smooth transaction. She quickly took charge of getting the house ready for market, finding all the necessary people to take care of clean-up and deferred maintenance issues. She kept us fully informed on viewings and when the final offer came in, she shepherded it through to successful completion. Through it all, she was diligent, detail oriented and highly professional. Simply put, without Karen’s expert help we couldn't have done it.
We found Karen to be extremely knowledgeable. She is dependable, warm and personable, open and honest, and most importantly, she possesses the highest level of integrity and loyalty. With Karen, we always knew that she was looking out for our best interest. Choose Karen Keefe for your real estate needs and you will not be disappointed!"
